Ally loves helping students at all stages in their musical development. Last spring she made her professional debut as a member of the choir for the Lamb of God Concert Film. In her time at BYU, Ally sang in all of the auditioned choirs, with 3 years in University Singers. Recent opera roles at BYU include Ida and covering Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, and covering the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte.)

Ally's teaching philosophy: I approach every student as a unique individual with unique goals. Rather than putting everyone through the same standardized program, I spend time carefully listening to their sound and asking for feedback on what they feel, hear, and think. I try to empower my students to be present and comfortable in their singing, so they can ultimately understand their sound without relying on others’ feedback. I love helping people find a voice that feels like their own.
