Baylie Hendry

Pop/Contemporary, Musical Theater, Classical

BA Contemporary Voice, Brigham Young University (In Progress)

Baylie’s collegiate level training began as a Classical Vocal Performance Major at USU, but is now studying at BYU in contemporary styles such as pop, jazz, folk, country, and musical theater. She has a variety of performing experience whether it be at the Hale Center Theater or singing and playing for local weddings with her husband. Some favorite stage roles have included Dolly in Hello, Dolly!, Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera, and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof.

Her passion for performing transfers well into teaching,. She is thrilled to help students find their voice! Baylie is a firm believer that everyone has their own unique sound and personality, and she tailors her teaching to help each student be authentic to both. She wants to ensure that her students can find a healthy balance between excellent technique and enjoying the music.

Outside of singing, some of Baylie’s favorite past times are coloring sidewalk chalk with her daughter, having dance parties in the kitchen, and puddle jumping.
