Rosie Osburn

Classical / Musical Theater / Pop / Jazz

BM Music Education, Brigham Young University (In progress)

Rosie loves music and has been singing since she was a little girl. She found her love of classical singing and opera in high school when she won a young artist competition with the Southwest Washington Symphony. She later went on to perform as a soloist with them. Rosie has gone on to sing with many choirs and is the current president of BYU Women’s Chorus. She studies Choral Education at BYU and loves helping students find their own passion for music.

Although Rosie loves classical voice, she also loves singing musical theatre, pop, jazz, and has a special spot in her heart for bluegrass. She believes that any student can learn to sing, and by learning healthy habits a student can learn any style of music. Learning how to manipulate and use the voice efficiently allows Rosie’s students to find vocal variety and freedom.
