BM, Vocal Performance, Utah Valley University

Holly Leavitt Michelsen is an incredibly versatile singer from Spanish Fork, Utah. A vocal chameleon, Holly is able to sing in just about any style including country, pop, r&b, musical theater and opera.

Holly grew up competing in piano and dance, as well as singing in musicals, choirs, and bands as lead vocalist and keyboardist. Her favorite musical theater and dance roles include step-sister Joy in "Cinderella", Mama Noah in "Children of Eden", and featured dancer in "Aida". At UVU, she enjoyed singing with a band called "The Eclectics", who composed and performed together. She also studied music technology software and recording studio application.

Throughout the years, she has studied voice with Jeanice Woodbrey, Cecily Ellis-Bills and Dr. Isaac Hurtado. She loves performing and teaching in classical, musical theater, and contemporary styles. Recent roles include Frasquita in "Carmen" with the UVAA Summer Opera Festival and Sally in "Die Fledermaus" with UVU Opera.

Besides music, Holly's favorite things to do are disc golfing, hiking, and spending time with family and her husband Tanner.
