Commercial Voice and Musical Theater

Tiffany Parker (mezzo-soprano), originally from Mesa, Arizona, completed her degree at BYU in Contemporary Voice Performance with a minor in Sound Design and Technology in April of 2021. 

Tiffany has been studying voice for 14 years in musical theatre, classical, pop, and rock styles and has been teaching voice for the last 8 years (4 of them at UVAA).

Tiffany’s performance experience spans across many different genres. As the lead singer of local Party Cover Band, White Noise, she has loved the opportunity to sing covers of the classics written by the Greats including, but not limited to, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, and Queen. She has recently been filling in as the singer for the local progressive metal group, “Man May Be” and has loved the challenge of singing metal music. She can also be seen on Youtube as a former member of BYU Noteworthy in songs such as, “It’s Raining Men” and “Get Happy”. Theatrical roles are included but not limited to: Rizzo in “Grease” that was nominated for a National Youth Award, Dolly in “Hello, Dolly!”, and Eponine in “Les Miserables”. Tiffany has done several musical theatre camps throughout her life including BYU’s Young Ambassador Singing Entertainer’s Workshop. In addition to contemporary styles, Tiffany has participated in various choirs for over 8 years, put on 2 recitals at BYU, was a 3 - time regional choir member (AZ), 2 - time All-state choir member, and was first chair Alto in the Arizona All-state Show Choir.

As a former Music Education student at BYU, Tiffany has loved applying everything she learned in those 3 years to helping her students reach their goals. She is constantly researching and building her knowledge of the voice to better help her students and because she loves learning! In Tiffany’s studio, vocal health is the NUMBER 1 priority and is the focal point of her training and teaching.

Currently, Tiffany is an Audio Technician at Hale Center Theatre (Sandy, UT), can be seen performing gigs with her band, White Noise, and is taking lessons herself from renowned NY based vocal coach, Mike Maixner, of Matt Farnsworth Vocal Studio that is responsible for the vocal education of several past and present Broadway Stars.
